Interview of a Character – Maggie Christopher

Maggie ChristopherLou Christopher’s wife Maggie plays a big role in my novel A Bridge to Treachery. It’s a role that grew exponentially from the moment she was given her own POV, because she provides a relentlessly practical approach to solving dilemmas at the same time that she  holds on to her love for Lou.  Maggie has emerged as popular a character in “Treachery” as my protag Lou.

This Q & A first appeared in Lil Berry’s blog: Forget About TV, Grab a Book, one of the stops on my November 2012 Book Tour organized by Innovative Online Book Tours. In it, Maggie reveals a dark side of herself that she is not proud of.  Click here to learn more about Maggie.

  1. I really enjoyed Maggie as a character and would look forward to seeing more appearances by her in the future, whether with Lou or on her own separate adventure.

  2. Hi Jeri. Thanks for your comment. It’s helpful to me to get comments about my characters, and of all of them, Maggie is one of my favorites. Right now, I’m wracking my brains over ideas to get me cracking in the writing department again. I’m doing a lot of short stuff, and procrastinating like crazy on the longer stuff. There are all kinds of ways to do sequels, and now you’ve got me thinking that Mag could take the lead in a sequel to A Bridge to Treachery, but frankly I’m conflicted.
