AuthorPicXTransplanted to Maine mid-westerner Larry Crane brings an Illinois sensibility to his writing. Larry graduated from West Point, served nearly seven years in the Army as an Infantryman in Germany and Vietnam. He commuted to Wall Street for nearly 20 years. His writing includes articles for outdoor magazines, plays, short fiction, and his most recent thriller novel, A Bridge to Treachery. In his spare time, Crane is a volunteer at his local historical society. Larry and wife Jan live on the coast of Maine.

  1. Hi Larry. I just started, beginning with your June 2012 segment on turning a play into a novel. I was glad that we’d had the talk over the dinner table at the King Eider and that I had heard you say turning a play into a novel is hard, next to impossible. Otherwise I might be assuming I was the only one who had failed at it! I’ll be reading more. Thanks for sharing! All this reminds me how much I have to learn about a blog. Is one segment of a blog a “glug”? (What a great photo; a live, engaging face! Handsome dog!)
