Got a chance to have an e-ARC of Up From Adams Street by Larry Crane. Thank youย @capenewagenย andย @iReadBookToursย โค๏ธ

The story is about Larry and his family in aย post-World War II generation, surrounded by a neighborhood of immigrant families.

It was inspiring to see his journey as a boy who loved sports, until going to the military academyโ€”and becoming a man, along with his experiences in love.

While reading, I feel like Iโ€™ve also lived through those times. It will also make you miss your childhood, and your hometown. It also shows how it was like to live in a world without digital cameras and the Internetโ€”which also means connecting with someone is through a letter, telephone or really making an effort to see them in person. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜ญโค๏ธ

It’s a great coming of age story and I totally recommend it to everyone who loves memoirs. โค๏ธ
